Remember
High protein, Boilies, Tiger Nuts, Peanuts, Trout Pellets and all pet foods are banned as baits and groundbaits on ALL club waters.

Groundbaiting
A 2 kilo limit has been introduced on all club waters to help prevent pollution.

Malcolm Barker Lake
Fishery report
The Malcolm Barker Lake in Pig Lane has seen several large catches of Tench, Bream and Crucian Carp in the first few weeks. Also some double figure carp have been reported. Sweetcorn, meat and chick pea are favourite baits at the moment.

 

Beggars Hall & Hall Farm
Fishery report

Beggars Hall is also giving great sport to the early riser with good carp and the occasional specimen Tench now beginning to show. Floating Crust is working well for Carp off the top.
The new water at Hall Farm in Little Hallingbury has also started in fine form with good catches of Common Carp, Crucian carp and Rudd being taken.

 
River Stort
Fishery report
The River Stort is in great shape and good fish are showing along the whole stretch from the Town bridge to Spellbrook Lock.
 

Turnford Lakes
Fishery report

All species showing well especially the Carp and tench as you would expect at this time of year.
No monsters as yet but Carp in the mid 20's and Tench up to 7lb being caught.

The club are constantly on the lookout for new waters to fish.
