BYE-LAWS

1. The present bye-laws of the National Rivers Authority shall be observed at all times.
(N.B. Attention is drawn to the NRA bye-law No. 10 (ii) concerning unattended rods).

2. Members must not, whilst on Society controlled waters, do any of the following :-
(i) leave litter viz. unwanted food, paper, polythene bags, nylon line, hooks etc. Permit holders occupying a swim will be held responsible for the cleanliness of the swim.
ANYONE CAUGHT WITH LITTER IN THEIR SWIM WILL HAVE THEIRCARD MARKED WITH A WARNING.
ANY FURTHER TRANSGRESSION WILL ATTRACT AN AUTOMATIC BAN UNTIL THE NEXT COMMITTEE MEETING. (see also Rule 11.)
(ii) take on to any fishery any glass bottles or tins of food whether for bait or human consumption. Any meat or vegetable bait or food must be taken in appropriate containers which must be taken from the fishery when leaving.
(iii) Unduly tread down or otherwise damage the banks, fencing, vegetation or property of any fishery.
(iv) use any camping equipment e.g. tents, stoves for cooking, polythene sheeting, bedding etc.
(v) use or take transistor radios or similar onto any enclosed fishery.
