Hi all, the Weds club fished its last round in their winter league at Hall Farm lake. The gap in the weather allowed us to fish most of the match in the dry and where I was was out of most of the heavy winds. I drew peg 24 - it's a good peg so not disappointed at all. I fed a 10 meter line and a margin line and a feeder for just in case. The 10 meter line was blowing all over the place with no presentation so stuck to my margins but not even a roach let alone a carp so onto the feeder with a 8mm wafter. Got my first carp at midday then two more through the afternoon - lost one at the net but that's how your luck runs sometimes. Ended up with 12lbs 10oz

First was Steve Foster with 62lbs, 2nd Rob Calderón with 61lbs 2oz, 3rd Peter Green with 24lbs 3oz and 4th Bill Beeston with 23lbs 1oz.
