Phil's day

Hi all, Weds club fished its 4th round of our winter league on our Backwater. For a few hours there I thought I would have to cancel because of the high winds but, by 8 am, the winds had almost gone. I drew peg 7 not been used for quite a while so didn't know what to expect. The water was in good condition but way too much flow but can't do anything about that. I fished bread punch and maggots - very slow to start with and that's how it went all day. I did manage to put 1lb 14 oz in the net for a few points

1st Rob Calderón with a very good weight of 5lbs 3oz, 2nd Steve Foster with 2lbs 11oz , joint 3rd was Fred Hunt and Bill Beeston with 2lbs 9oz. Pic is Fred Hunt on the next peg to me.
