Phil's day

Good morning to all, the Weds club fished its 4th round of the summer league at Beggars Hall. I drew peg 10 a very good winter peg but not so good in the summer and to add to the mix I was in the shade all day with the wind blowing straight at me by 11 am put on jumpers and coat. To say I had a really boring morning was an understatement - not a sign. By 2 ish I started to see some movement down the margin so changed tack and rigged up for the margins. This proved a life - saver hooked 4 and only managed to land 2 for 18 pounds and a broken power top seems to be a habit over there.

1st Jeff Pearson with 74lbs 11oz, 2nd Terry Moranda with 60lbs 9oz , 3rd Peter Green with 59lbs 8oz and 4th Steve Foster with 54lbs 3oz. Pic is Tony Cruci on peg 12 (what not peg 18 again! - Ed)
