Phil's day

Hi all, fished our first summer league match yesterday at our club lake Beggars Hall. I drew peg 10 was not impressed to say the least. Still your draw is pure luck as to what you get. Started off cupping out some red maggot and micro pellet in the hopes this will bring a few bites. I also made up the feeder and started off on this to the island - not a touch after a hour. I then tried my 10 meter pole line and had a roach and stayed with this until the bites dried up then back onto the feeder but nothing. Back to the pole and still nothing finished off with 1lbs 14oz and nowhere.
