Phil's day

Hi to all, the Weds club fished the club lake at Hall Farm in very soggy conditions with a fairly windy day. Iit was our 5th leg of our winter league so I was hoping for a good draw sadly not to be. Peg 8 which has not done very well over the winter. Well it fished pretty much how I thought it would. When I hooked a carp it would slip the hook. Got to the last 10 minutes and just as I was thinking 3rd blank of my season my feeder pulled round and saved my day with a lone f1 carp.

1st Rob Calderón with 49lbs 1oz, 2nd Peter Green with 40lbs 11oz, 3rd Fred Hunt with 29lbs 4oz and 4th Tony Cruci with 24lbs 11oz. Pic today is Fred (Two Brollies) Hunt on peg 7.
