Phil's day

Good cold day to all. The Weds club fished its club match at Hall Farm large this week. This is my second day out since my illness must admit I wasn't looking forward to it especially the weighing in . I was lucky to draw a low bank peg so some of my battle was won. Ony 9 of us turned up so only 3 pegs on the step side high bank. Started off on feeder with pellet banded to a hair rig - this wasn't working so put a maggot rig on and a much lighter hooklength and, within 15 minutes, had my first carp. It's now 12.40 and I am down by 4 fish to my right and 2 fish to my left but plodded on to catch 4 more with a weight of 20lbs 15oz.
