Phil's day

Hi to all. The Weds club fished an inter-club match this week at Taylor's Lake against Abbey Cross. I drew peg 34 not particularly good but it's the luck of the draw. I started off on feeder while my pole line feed had a bit of time to work. Stayed with the feeder for a good hour then I decided it was time to try the pole as I didn't get any positive bites from the feeder. The pole line was pretty much the same story and that was my day on and off - pole and feeder and ended up blanking. Not to worry my team seems to have done the business.

When the points were tallied up we won by a considerable amount Bishop's Stortford 66 points to Abbey Cross 29 points. 1st John Carter with 32lbs 6oz, 2nd John Todd with 16lbs 1oz, 3rd Bill Beeston with 15lbs and 4th Rob Calderón with 9lbs 6oz. A very big well done to the team. Pic is John and Rob by their pegs they came 1st and 4th.
