A reminder on net hygiene

As you will have seen we are having issues with fish deaths at MBL which are being investigated. This is a reminder to us all to practice good nets hygiene.

After fishing, on the Club's waters or anywhere, please always make sure your nets, weigh slings, unhooking mats, etc. are thoroughly dried ideally in full sun as the UV helps kills any harmful organisms or vegetation to prevent their transfer between waters.

The Club also recommends not using keepnets outside of matches to help prevent transfer of waterborne diseases etc..

The Club's keepnet policies can be found on the Club Rules page
