Phil's day

Hi all, we fished our final Weds Club Winter League match at Beggars Hall. It was a wet and windy start to our day but not cold. I drew peg 10 and I couldn't have wished for a better peg - it's one of the top 4 pegs on the lake. I fished a tight match avoiding hit and miss casts on the feeder but it wasn't going to happen, fell back to my pole line and had a good roach and a really good perch of about 1 1 /2 pounds and a few bits and that was my day. I did get a carp on but it spat the hook out just before the landing net - not one of my best days
