Phil's day

Hi to all. The Sunday BSDAS lads fished its match at Hall Fm big lake . The temperature was a much better 25 degrees with a strong wind blowing and for good measure 15 minutes of light rain. I drew peg 2 not a bad peg and has done well lately, what with the wind I only fished one margin on the pole top kit plus 2 sec.

Started off trying different baits but just the odd roach and rudd but little else so decided I would adopt the tactics from Weds match and about 11ish had my first carp about 5lbs this was a smart move because throughout the day with the odd change of bait when it dulled down it kept the fish coming . I ended my day filling 3 nets with carp of all sizes.

Well done Phil with Kevin also having a good day with 124lbs and then Bob just piping Darren with 79lbs.
