Phil's day

Hi all, Bishop Stortford Weds club fished the inter-club match with Abbey Cross at our home water at Hall Farm. It was a very miserable, wet day and the lake banks were like a swamp in most places so everything had to be dried out and scrubbed clean of mud afterwards. Well that was the good part of my day needless to say I blanked - hero one week zero the next, but the lake fished better the I thought it would for most with only 3 blanks in total - I was expecting more. The 3 hot spots all did well the 4th hot spot only had 1 oz but then that peg 2 can be like that.

Well done to all who persevered, first place went to Bob Warmsly with 22lbs 1oz, 2nd was Tony Cruci with 17lbs 4oz, 3rd was Alan Fox with 14lbs 5oz, 4th Alan Sims with 10lbs 3oz and 5th Tony Parker with 5lb 6oz.
