Once again, many thanks to the Club for letting 1st Thorley Scouts use the small lake for a fishing taster session.

Despite a few dark clouds gathering on the horizon the rain stayed off and, apart from being a bit windy, it was a lovely summer's evening.

We had 20+ scouts trying their hand at fishing and the fish in the lake were very obliging with everyone catching plenty of roach and rudd. We also had a few run ins with the bigger residents in the lake - whilst most managed to slip the hook we ended up with a few in the nets.
