Phil's day

Morning to all, the Weds Club fished its match at Malcolm Barker Lake not fished it for quite a while because it was extremely weedy and to get more then 5 pegs clear was impossible but most of that has cleared except towards the middle.

I drew peg 5 it's been OK in past years but a lot of cold rain this week was going to make it hard going. Made two pole lines and a waggler for distance above the weed. Well needless to say we all had a bad day (with John T having some fun with the Lake's pike population) but only one blank so all in all had worse matches. I did manage to get a roach and a perch just two bites. Never mind always next week. Pic is my swim for the day.
