Phil's day

Hi all we fished the interclub match against Abbey Cross at Hall Farm today. The lake didn't fish as well as I had hoped but there was one exceptional weight from Martin Adams of a 101lbs 10oz but, apart from that, all the placings were below 40lb. I, like so many others, sat there waiting for a switch on in our pegs and when it did happen it lasted for only a very short while. Never mind at least there were no blanks.

1st was Martin Adams with 101lbs 10oz, 2nd Tony Cruci with 34lbs 14oz, 3rd Steve Foster with 30lbs 3oz and 4th Jeff Pearson with 28lbs 12oz. Well done to all you all did well considering the weather at times was awful.
Abbey Cross won with 58 points to Bishop's Stortford's 49.
