Phil's day

Hi all, the Weds club fished its monthly interclub match at Taylor's Lake - but the much more difficult Car Park end. It was always going to be hard going with 2 heavy frost but you never know. I drew peg 16 and didn't have a clue what it's like so fished very light looking for the odd roach or perch. As I suspected, it was a very hard day with only 4 bites for me - the end result being 4 roach for 5 oz and saved the blank.

1st Steve Foster with 4lbs 8oz, 2nd Ray Gibson with 3lbs 11oz, 3rd Tony Cruci with 12oz and joint 4th Bill Beeston and Alan Fox with 11oz, pic is my swim for the day.

And Bishop's Stortford won the team match with 85 points to Abbey Cross's 42.
