A little glimpse behind the scenes

As a local angling club all the maintenance of our waters is via its members - at this time of year it is a battle to keep back the weeds and brambles.

Sometimes though things get a bit more involved - thanks to Rob for these below photos from the 2014 netting of MBL. It may look sunny but this was in December.

PS. Yes Beggars Hall has had a bit of trim this week whilst the water is low so we can get at some of the branches growing into the lake.
