A Malcolm Barker update

Writer: Gary PickardGary Pickard

As you will have spotted if you have been at MBL lately a lot of work is happening and a lot more will be going on over the next few months. Upcoming projects include:

  • Cutting back all the swims.

  • Removing the big tree stump near the car park - we are having another go Sat 23 Sept so please park away from this area

  • Extending the hardstanding area of the car park - this is pencilled in for Thurs 26 Oct so parking will be very limited

  • Installing a solar aireator system.

  • Trying to sort out this summer's very heavy weed growth.

  • Adding Siltex to remove the silt build up.

  • Creating a small memorial garden/seating area.

If you can help on Thursdays please contact Steve Foster 01279 504663

If you can help on Saturdays please contact Gary Pickard 07791 761501

Please also note the interclub match versus Sawbridgeworth is on the Backwater 1 Oct, there will be no swims free. The car park will also be pretty full.
