Please read this

This is not the sort of email we enjoy sending.  The Club's Rules have been agreed by the Members to try and make sure our Club and fisheries stay in good shape for another 75 years.  By joining the Club or fishing on a Guest or Day ticket you have agreed with all the Club's Members to abide by these Rules.

Sadly we are seeing a growing number of people not following these Rules.  Recent examples are:

Banned baits - they have been banned for a reason, e.g. regular overfeeding which harms the fishery.

Banned rigs - fish are not free and need to be cared for.

Litter - no excuses, if you brought it you can take it home.

Guest pass misuse - it is one pass per Member per day.  Remember you are responsible for your Guest.

Buying the wrong membership to save money.

Using a mate's membership - we do not want to go to photo IDs as many clubs have had to because of the extra cost that would need to be passed on.  Please do not be offended if asked for photo ID.

We are always happy to explain why a Rule exists (there is not enough space in the Club book for this) or to hear suggestions for changes to the Rules, however, until any changes are agreed by the Members, the Rules are the rules and apply to all.

Whilst we are all bailiffs on our waters we do not want or expect you to place yourselves at any risk. If you witness problems at any fisheries do let us know so this can be dealt with appropriately.

We will be carrying out a series of rig / bait check sessions over the summer months so you may be asked to reel in for rigs to be checked.
