River Stort - Spellbrook Lock

Getting there: From Bishops Stortford on A1184 continue to Spellbook, turn left into Spellbrook Lane East, go past the Three Horseshoes pub which is on your right and over the railway crossing and river bridge. There is a small lay-by on the right just after the bridges in which to park. The Bishop Stortford section is 'upstream' of the lock - to your right heading back towards Bishop's Stortford as you head back to the Stort from the lay-by.  The Harlow Mill section is quite a distance downstream
